What is Yoga?
Yoga has a very holistic approach, involving asanas (poses), breath, and redirecting your mind to an ‘object’ without distraction. It aims to bring the self to a harmonious state. You begin somewhere known and move somewhere unknown using your body and your breath.
It encourages body awareness. It brings you in the present so all your worries can drop away. There are no more ‘should’s, and ‘must’s. You will be in the present moment throughout your practice. Yoga is life training, a tool for transformation. You will feel many long term rewards physically, psychologically and spiritually. Your body and mind will feel freer rather than tight and bound up.
